Postdoctoral Scholars

We are currently seeking qualified postdoctoral fellows. Please email Dr. Wang for more information.

Postdoctoral research in the lab commonly involves close interactions both within the lab and with collaborating groups at Stanford University and at other institutions. Postdoctoral training includes participation in seminars and retreats of the Stanford Program in Epithelial Biology, the Stanford Program in Cancer Biology, and the Stanford Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine. Postdoctoral applicants should email a letter of interest and a CV that includes three references to Dr. Wang.

General Information about postdoctoral fellowships at Stanford may be found at the Stanford Postdoctoral Scholars site.

Graduate Students

The Wang Lab accepts graduate students from many of the Stanford Biosciences Home Programs including but not limited to Cancer Biology, Genetics, and Biology. Prospective graduate students are encouraged to apply to one of the Stanford Biosciences Home PhD Programs which best fits their research interests. Students already enrolled at Stanford in a Biosciences PhD program who are interested in rotating in our lab should email Dr. Wang.

Undergraduate students participate in an intensive research experience working closely with a postdoctoral fellow or a PhD student mentor. Students are strongly encouraged to apply early in their college careers to maximize their opportunity to perform significant work at the bench. Undergraduate student efforts are focused on preparation for future PhD studies in the biosciences. Undergraduate students should join by the Spring Quarter of their freshman year with an envisioned college career-long commitment that includes full-time summer work. Interested undergraduate students should email Dr. Wang.
